AsiaInfo (News Alert) Holdings announced that it has signed a contract with
China Telecom to upgrade the carriers online selfservice center for nine
provinces in northern China.
AsiaInfo will provide a unified online customer experience with robust
selfservice capabilities by employing its Telecom Web SelfService (TWSS)
solution. The company explained that the new system will feature enhanced
account management functions and general account servicing capabilities.
Steve Zhang (News Alert), AsiaInfos president and chief executive officer,
said the project serves as an excellent opportunity for the company to deepen
its relationship with China Telecom (News Alert) in the CRM space.
Zhang said that userfriendly and efficient online selfservice centers are
becoming a key component of telecom CRM systems due to rapid increase of
internet usage in China. He emphasized that AsiaInfos CRM systems improve
customer satisfaction and can help significantly increase carriers operational
efficiency.
AsiaInfo made news last week for introducing a new mobile ecommerce solution,
