Hong Kong’s incumbent telecom provider, PCCW, has added the National Geographic
Channel HD to its Now TV IPTV lineup.
National Geographic Channel is already available in HD format in the United
States, Canada, Singapore, France, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, and the
United Kingdom.
Launched in 2003, PCCW’s Now TV division has grown to become the world’s largest
IPTV service. It has approximately 850,000 customers in Hong Kong, putting it on
roughly equal footing to the city’s incumbent cable television operator.
