Licensed Internet Service Providers in Hong Kong had a total of 1.86 million
highspeed internet subscribers at the end of October, according to new data
from the Chinese protectorate’s telecom regulator, Ofta.
The statistics were broken down into 1.7 million residential broadband users,
and 151,506 enterpriselevel customers. Ofta also counted 953,128 subscribers
using dialup (narrowband) connections.
