A German regional court on Wednesday rejected mobilcom founder Gerhard Schmids
claim for damages against France Telecom (FTE.PA: Quote, Profile, Research), the
court said.
Schmid had sued for 7 billion euros ($10.4 billion) in damages against the
French telecoms group for not keeping pledges to bankroll mobilcoms third
generation mobile services.
Mobilcom has since merged with Internet service provider freenet (FNTG.DE:
Quote, Profile, Research).
