Time Warner (NYSE:TWX) Telecom (NASDAQ:TWTC) Inc. said late Wednesday it will
change its name to tw telecom inc., effective July 1.
Time Warner Telecom has been operating under a name licensing agreement with
Time Warner Inc. that will expire June 30, the company said.
Until the switch is made, Time Warner Telecom said it will cobrand with the tw
telecom name while completing necessary legal and regulatory requirements and
marketing and communications activities.
Larissa Herda, Time Warner Telecoms chairman, president, and chief executive,
said in a statement that tw telecom is familiar it is stable it is
consistent it is clear, concise and focused it is who we are.
Shares of Time warner Telecom closed at $15.76.
